Welcome to Scusi, a charming Italian eatery nestled in the heart of downtown Pullman WA, where passion for authentic cuisine meets a commitment to community care. Founded by Michael Byrne and Frank Maryott. Scusi is the culmination of their lifelong dreams and dedication to serving both exceptional food and the greater good of our community.

Michael and Frank’s journey in the restaurant industry has not only been about crafting delicious Italian dishes but also about making a meaningful impact on the lives of those around them. 

Starting in the 90’s Michael and Frank have had multiple known restaurants in our small town. Starting with Petes Bar and Grill, and growing into Fireside Grille and Banyans on the Ridge. The knowledge from those ventures have expanded their horizons to currently owning Banyans on the Green, a clubhouse restaurant on the City Public Golf Course in McCall, ID. While simultaneously operating Scusi here in Pullman WA. Known for their philanthropic efforts and unwavering support for local causes, Michael and Frank have seamlessly integrated their love for food with their passion for helping others.

 In 2020 when Covid-19 hit, Michael and Frank started a program to help those who could not afford a meal, inspiring the Tuesday efforts of “Feeding our Friends” Every Tuesday they offered free meals to those in need without question. For 3 years this continued out of their own generosity and care for the community and those in need serving over more than 15,000 meals. Through initiatives such as Feeding our Friends, Scusi strives to be more than just a dining destination but a catalyst for positive change in Pullman with an emphasis on small town compassion.
